Wondering what I did this weekend? I watched runway show videos from the London Fashion Week on FTV. Seeing that it’s the first city celebrating Fashion Week, it was fun to see what the trends are coming for Fall Winter 16. I have to admit, one of my favorite parts of fashion week is the crazy runway looks. They make us wonder, “Is someone going to wear this, or is it fashion art and part of the theatrics of the runway show?” Take a look at some of my favorite stand-out pieces for Fall-Winter 2016 showcased during London Fashion Week.
Alexander McQueen FW16 London Fashion Week

Take for example this runway look by Alexander McQueen. Yes, the silver and black patterned dinner jacket will make him stand out in any crowd, but it’s the giant safety pin in his cheek that made them look twice!
Nasir Mazhar FW16 London Fashion Week

Looks like designer Nasir Mazhar was inspired by Darth Vader for the Fall Winter 2016 collection. I have to admit, it’s an improved look over the Star Wars wardrobe.

Designer Sid Bryan insisted that the robes were not show clothes: “They’ve already got the customers lined up. We only make what we know we are going to sell, because otherwise what’s the point?”
