One of my favorite new brands that I discovered at Playtime New York is Little Miss Galia designed by Alia Charvel based out of Monterrey, Mexico.
Alia began her career in women’s fashion design, but when she became a mom to Galia, she was inspired to create her own girl’s brand – Little Miss Galia.
Little Miss Galia’s motto is – We interpret fashion trends for little bodies, offering cool little clothes for cool little ladies between the ages of 2 and 12 years old.
Alia searches the globe to find the most stylish and highest quality fabrics that will make girls feel like real princesses.
She uses gorgeous fabrics like Malhia Kent made in France.
Alia also likes to add her own special touch by layering the fabrics. Here she adds a layer of cotton boreholes fabric over lame in gold and silver.

Girls are going to love these dresses in fresh pastel colors with hints of neon mixed with metallics in gold and silver.
Some of my favorites are the pink trench coat, the bright geometric patterned jackets and dresses, and the shades of neon and gold dresses. In all honesty, every piece in the collection is eye candy!

Little Miss Galia is definitely a new brand to watch for Spring Summer 2014. I’m excited to see what Alia has next in her design inspiration book! Actually, I did get a preview of the Fall-Winter 2014/15 collection this winter at Playtime New York – and yes….it’s to die for.
