At Playtime Paris it had to opportunity to catch up with The Tiny Universe design team Maria & Johan and learn more about what’s new for Spring Summer 2015. In 2010 this dynamic duo from Sweden came together with a brilliant idea to design comfy formal clothes for babies.
“Hi we’re the Tiny Universe Maria & Johan. We’re going to show you two new collections for Spring Summer 2015. The first is the Switch Concept that allows customers to design their own dresses and the second is our brand new swimwear line.

The Switch Concept allows you to design your own dresses and tank tops that are available in black and off-white. On each dress, you have snap buttons that allow you to simply attach and re-attach ribbons of your choice in a rainbow of colors.

So to make a new dress you simply snap off the ribbon and chose a new color to snap on the same dress.
For SS15 we’ve also launched an entire swimsuit collection with both UV protective dresses and also regular bathing suits and swim trunks for boys.

The idea does not only do we want our little kids to look gorgeous at the parties they also will be able to look gorgeous on the beach. So you can imagine a small toddler doing for a swim in a tuxedo for example.”

Beyond the new switch concept and swimwear line, The Tiny Universe continues to design adorable clothing in sizes newborn up to 6 years old.
