Calling all mini fashionistas, are you ready to hit the slopes in style? Since I was a little girl I’ve been a ski bunny. Growing up in Minnesota I remember shopping for ski gear with the first snow – in October 🙂 . Back then there a variety of brands to choose from, but today mini fashionistas can enjoy high fashion when they hit the slopes.
One of my favorite brands for ski wear is Danish brand Molo launched in 1999 by Lousie Frederiksen. Unique and unpredictable, Molo clothes are full of fun, quirky details with clean and “raw” design traditions of Northern Europe.
One of my favorite looks is Molo’s Unisex Ice Surf theme that includes a lightly padded Alpine jacket with three front pockets, a light reflective star on the back and a warm black fleece lining.
Molo Girls can also choose the Winter Floral theme including a lightly padded Pearson jacket with two front pockets and one on the sleeve. It has a light reflective star on the back, a warm black fleece lining, and goes with a matching pair of waterproof black and white Cheeta style pants.
Another great brand for boys is this sporty outdoor look by Dsquared2. Designed by Famous Fashion Icons Dean & Dan Caten, the boys’ collection is inspired by the famous Dsquared2 Men’s collection. This Boys black hooded jacket by DSquared2 features a stylish lightweight design and real comfy feather and down padding and yellow satin lining.
Another perfect look for boys by Dsquared2 is this blue wool sweater that will keep your little guy warm. In a mid-weight knit, this comfy and stylish sweater feels soft against the skin and features a ski and poles weave on the front and the designer’s signature Canadian maple leaf logo.
One of the most famous luxury ski wear is by Moncler, created in 1952 by René Ramillon and André Vincent near the French Alpes. In 1968, the brand was named the official supplier of the French Alpine Ski Team and four years later the first iconic Moncler down jacket was born.
I don’t know about you, but all this writing about ski fashion is making me want to book a ticket to the French Alps! In the meantime, you can shop these adorable ski looks for your mini fashionista.
