Kefi and Cake
Inspired by her kids, and Greek heritage, Fran Focacci created "Kefi and Cake". "Kefi" means uncontrollable joy… the kind you have when you break plates as many have seen in Greek movies! "Kefi and Cake" is a play off the phrase "coffee and cake" and the word cake reminds Fran of kids as well. Kefi and Cake started its web business in March of 2007 selling unique t-shirts and other clothing (many for kids), cards, mugs, and other gifts. They sell gifts with English phrases on them as well.
"I had an idea for years to put the word "Filakia" (Greek for "Kisses") on a t-shirt. It's a fun common term you say to your loved ones in Greek, and it works for any age!
I love humor, and there are so many Greek sayings that are funny, along with some words or phrases that strike me as cute, witty, or funny that I believe need to be displayed in the world!
