I fell in love with these giant dolls by Blabla Kids when I first saw them in person in August at the Playtime New York trade show. At the show, I had the pleasure of interviewing Leslie Lowe who shared with me the story behind these adorable dolls.
Based in Atlanta Georgia, Blabla Kids was founded by Florence Wetterwald who designs each doll with a unique character, personality, and story to tell. All items are hand-knit by amazing artisans in Peru from the softest 100% Peruvian cotton.
Leslie explained that the Blabla Kids giants were initially created as part of a trade show display. They immediately became popular and have become a featured toy for Bla Bla Kids. These adorable soft life-size friends also come in tiny and medium sizes so you can match the giant with their little brothers and sisters.
The great thing about the giant dolls is they make the perfect life-size friend for your little one to snuggle up to when they’re falling asleep. Plus they make perfect decor for your baby nursery or child’s room.
The only problem for me is that with so many adorable dolls for boys and girls it’s really hard to choose the perfect one!
