The elegant French label Cacharel was created in 1962 by Jean Bousquet as a small-scale tailoring business designing women’s trousers. Son of a sewing machine salesman Jean Bousquet was part of the world of fashion since childhood. Before Bousquet found his own fashion house in Le Marais, Paris, he trained to be a tailor at a technical college and worked for two years as a designer.
