Founded by Tania Urban in 2009, ella and otto kids clothes and bedding create a beautiful and stylish range of clothes and accessories for newborns and bigger babies, made from 100% organic cotton with special care to be soft and smooth against the baby’s skin. You’ll find five collections featuring ella & otto’s popular prints including sleepsuits, play sets, dresses, sleeping bags and hats to match.
For the former children’s clothing designer and mother of four, the collections reflect her love of contemporary styling. Tania, who is Swedish, studied fashion and graphics in Paris and New York before moving to London. After twelve years designing clothing for High Street giants including H&M, John Lewis, and Monsoon, she branched out into textiles when she was unable to find anything suitable for her children’s bedrooms.

My background, indeed my whole Scandinavian heritage, is so strong on design and I wanted to create something that wouldn’t jar with the rest of the house. My home is full of color and modern design and I didn’t want old-fashioned frills and flounces for the children. At ella & otto we are saying you don’t have to forget your own style just because you have children. – Tania explains.
