Behind the catwalk was a full orchestra which fit into the Spring Summer 2014 collection theme.

Just like the musical instruments in an orchestra express themselves in unison to create a symphony, the pieces in the new Il Gufo Spring Summer 2014 range come together in a collection that finds its strength in the harmony of its colors.

You’ll find a blend of innovation and elegance that has always characterized Il Gufo. The most delicate and romantic pieces are characterized by brushstrokes of color that give a watercolor effect to the soft, light fabrics. You’ll also find a more casual, sporty spirit, with appliqués of large colored circles or maxi flower reliefs.

For Spring Summer 2014 you’ll find a skillful use of color which is the result of on-going research and testing by Il Gufo’s in-house style and design Department’s. You’ll find shades of deep and ultramarine blue, as well as cornflower, cut determinedly across the garments, in solid colors or mixed together to give checkered or striped effects.

In the boy’s collection, you’ll find cotton pullovers, linen shirts and denim trousers in shades of greens – lime, kiwi, apple and military, that meet shades of blue.

For little girls you’ll find a shade of pink, from strawberry to raspberry, plays with orange on dresses, blouses in voile and skirts in tulle. You’ll also find white and a range of greys, which find their natural match in red and yellow, for combinations that feel alive and are perfect for ‘children who want to be dressed as children’.
