Jumina Fall Winter 2013

The Jumina Fall Winter 2013 Norwegian Fairytale collection, inspired by Scandinavian traditions is fun, playful and artistic, with a color palette based on Norwegian nature´s gorgeous Autumn season.

One of my favorite things about Jumina is that each season their breathtaking collections are uniquely captured by wonderful photos that are truly a work of art!

Jumina is created by CEO and head designer Elisabeth G. Rognmo from Stavanger, Norway. Elisabeth, inspired by her 3 daughters, dedicates the collection to her family. Being both creative and environmentally aware, Elisabeth puts quality at top priority, which characterizes each collection.

Our goal is to be most environmentally friendly throughout the whole process and make healthy and comfortable clothes, yet unique and fashionable to wear for the most important people, the children, Elisabeth G. Rognmo.

For Jumina’s Fall-Winter 2013 collection the mood is fun, playful and artistic, all based on Scandinavian traditions and fairytales. Tim Burton and the Circus are also an inspiration for some of the playful looks in the collection.

At Jumina you’ll find simple cuts, with fun details and soft quality fabrics including soft organic cotton for everyday wear and soft wool for cold days. For the holidays you’ll find festive partywear in cashmere and warm winter outerwear in lovely soft wool.

Jumina’s New Storybook and Illustrations

Jumina has ventured into the world of publishing with their first storybook on friendship written by Kim A. Rognmo, Elisabeth’s husband and partner in Jumina.

The Jumina storybook brings inspiration to the Fall Winter 2013 collection – “the child can dream and experience the story wearing it at the same time.”

Illustrations from the new storybook, drawn by Amalia K, can be found on lovely soft garments, bed linens, cushions, jewelry, and stationery for little ones.
