KENZO Kids Spring Summer 2013 Collection

Gorgeous Mini Me Collection from France

KENZO Kids Spring Summer 2013 collection reflects the enthusiastic and contemporary approach to fashion by new Kenzo house head designers Carol Lim and Humberto Leon. Sharing the vitality of original designer Kenzo Takada, Lim and Leon have adopted a new attitude that is cool, fun and chic.

A mix of urban and ethnic references, combined in a casual wear attitude, Kenzo Kids Summer 13 collection is inspired by travel and new horizons, including playful geometric motifs of various sizes. The blue and bright orange colors schemes add to the sports couture style.

A key element for KENZO girls is flowers. Be it oversized for the children, kaleidoscopic flowers for baby, and in strawberry sweet colors for newborns. Dresses, t-shirts, and jackets have a presence with color blocking, graphic stripes and mixing and matching Hawaiian flower prints. You’ll also find a pop influence where colorful drawings play around with the letters of the word KENZO and include a multicolored parrot too.

Kenzo girls offers a pretty selection of preppy 60s dresses in a mouth-watering color – mint, coral and sunny yellow. You’ll also find a skirt in fuchsia tulle and an immaculate dress in Broderie Anglaise.

In the neo-African, modern boubou trend plants and animals are key themes. Boys show off their elephants, zebras, and giraffes, mixed with African patterns for a stylish, relaxed air. Girls slip into camouflage overalls and dresses.

The new and innovative KENZO By Junior line for kids from 6-16 years old bridges the gap between kids and adults. Designed by Carol and Humberto, this mini collection contains sharp styling that’s closer to the designs and style of KENZO’s adult range.
