Bubble London took place on June 19-20, 2011 at the Business Design Centre, Islington, UK, with a record number of exhibitors and attendees. Buyers arrived at the show to see a line up of over 250 brands from the UK and around the globe. Visitor numbers have increased by a total of 57 per cent.

In addition to a record number of exhibitors and visitors, this season saw the newly launched free retail-oriented seminar program featuring a hand-picked selection of industry speakers from retail specialist companies. Other highlights from the show included organic and fair trade brand Green Baby being crowned winners of the inspirational Stand-Out competition, which saw brands competing for an exclusive prize.

The next addition of Bubble London takes place on January 29-30. 2012 at the Business Design Center, Islington and will feature the autumn/winter 2012 trends for childrenswear, footwear, accessories, toys, interiors plus much more.

AYA NAYA – Denmark

Denmark’s AYA NAYA‘s creates natural clothes for happy kids from 3 months to 12 years. In AYA NAYA’s childlike universe children get to be children – with strawberry juice on their lips and tousled hair.

Milibe Copenhagen – Denmark

Milibe Copenhagen‘s motto is as always comfort and the new Spring/Summer 2012 styles are tested on the kids and they love it! This year Milibe believes in colors which that blend and are easy to combine with denim and other earth colors – Khaki, mélange grey, soft yellow, and classic blue.

Aravore – UK

Aravore handcrafted organic luxury presents a refined pared down aesthetic with a vintage/retro style, emphasizing the first class materials and human hand and skills behind each garment.

Me TOO – Denmark

With happy colors, smart details, and a twinkle in the eye, the Danish children’s clothing company ME TOO prepares for a season full of exciting news. Nature and happy ending fairytales have been the wonderful inspiration for ME TOO’s new girl’s collection, while boys have classic college styles and cool inspiration from the world of music.

Koolabah – Portugal

Koolabah Spring/Summer 2012 Collection was inspired by the vintage images of fishermen from Eastern Asian cultures and from the fitness and jogging craze of the 80s. These divergent themes result in experimental forms which co-join and surprise without losing their functionality or comfort.

Isossy Children – UK

Another summer on the horizon sees yet another glorious fashion collection from Isossy Children for Spring /Summer 2012. The collection has moved forward to become more softer and girly with three distinctive lines that are adaptable to any given occasion, the lines include Isossy Classic, Occasion and Play.

Lilly + Sid – UK

Lilly + Sid‘s Fall/Winter 11 collection is inspired by childhood fantasies past and present. Every little girl wants to be a princess, so new character Ada Owl is surrounded by funky frills, bows and hearts The design team were also greatly inspired by the princess exhibition at Kensington Palace and new outfitting details reflect this with ready to wear all in ones, playsuits and dress sets.

Ta Daa – France

Ta Daa launched their beautiful, handmade and upcycled range of children and baby clothing at Bubble London. Timeless and Creative, Ta Daa’s debut collection, which is based on upcycled shirts, sees an abundance of adorable and timeless dresses, tops, bloomers and trousers, revisited with a touch of creativity. The fabric of the shirts has been transformed into playful new shapes, keeping the original features of the garment in memory of its former life.

Paz Rodriguez – Spain

“Color progression is the thread for the PAZ Rodríguez Spring/Summer 2012 Collection,” explains the Paz Rodriguez design team. The layette collection recalls our grandmothers’ careful and traditional handcraft with hand finishings and lace edgings include the taste for crude colors from dark beige to sky blue and pink. For babies, there is also a fresh new line with liberty patterns and optical white blended with earth tones.

Hucklebones London – UK

Recent winner of the 2011 Junior Design awards for the best new fashion brand, Hucklebones London Spring/Summer 2012 collection takes a look at the traditional British waterside picnic including lazy days on the riverbank enjoyed with a lemonade in hand. A ‘Water lily and Minnow’ print graces fine silk dresses, sleeveless blouses and gathered skirts and shares the serenity of the sunlit water.

Molo – Sweden

Molo’s Spring-Summer 2012 Collection is heavy on the charm. It is first and foremost molo’s daring prints, surprising color mixes and quirky styles that give all children an injection of high voltage charm. Since its conception, molo has seen its role as the brand that provides “favorites” for every child’s closet and this continues with the spring-summer collection 2012.

Toffee Moon – UK

Toffee Moon‘s Spring-Summer 2012 Collection features cool shades & fine knits. Pale Silver, soft Pebble Grey, Periwinkle Blue and pretty Lavender makes an appearance for Spring 2012, in the new collection inspired by the beautiful British coastlines.

Tutu Du Monde – Australia

Tutu Du Monde has created an exquisite wonderland, a playground of the prettiest clothes for little girls. They’re laced with fairytale tulle, sparkling sequins, beautiful bows and rosettes so fabulous they’ll have your little sweet pea dancing with delight.

The Tiny Universe – UK

The Tiny Universe brings style to the first twelve months on earth. Using innovative design and humor, they’ve created a collection full of groundbreaking pieces. With The Tiny Universe, every baby is guaranteed to arrive at the party in style. The soft comfortable garments are perfect for any occasion when an extra style is required, be it a baptism, a wedding party or just a night on the town.

Helen Gordon – UK

Oxford-based Helen Gordon launched her business in 2010 with a range of clothing, accessories, soft furnishings and stationery for children, all featuring her exclusive printed designs. Helen is a trained textile designer, and also has a wealth of experience as a buyer for high street clothing and interiors chains.

ilovegorgeous – UK

ilovegorgeous Spring Summer 2012 Collection – Miami Beach and an Eccentric English Summer. The ilovegorgeous collection is a perfect example of how designers Lucy and Sophie like to juxtapose themes within their collections.

Rockefella – Sweden

Rockefella designs clothes for the small kids of today, with a sense of yesterday with a size range from three months to eight years. Rockefella always searches for the true original feeling on materials and details, with a focus on the best comfort for the child. Their roots are in the old style American culture; with a heart full of denim, Rockabilly and rebellious lifestyle.

Pale Cloud – UK

Pale Cloud launched their Spring Summer 2012 collection at Bubble London featuring Pretty Pernille. In the picture above Pernille is wearing a Pale Cloud 100% Silk Sophie Dress; it has been hand dip-dyed in two colors and you need to see this dress close up to really get a feel for the incredible design and detail.

Jumina – Norway

Jumina Spring Summer 2012 collection – a Norwegian Fairytale features a simple cut yet with a focus on details. A continuation of the well loved Fall Winter 2011 collection, the entire Spring Summer 2012 collection is organic and fairtrade certified cotton.

Bonnie Baby – UK

The Spring Summer 2012 Collection from British Childrenswear label Bonnie Baby take inspiration from the British summer and its endless charm. Raindrops, clouds, sunshine, and rainbows are major motifs running throughout sunshine yellow denim, rainbow-striped knits, raindrop embroidered sundresses and cloud print jersey basics – all accessorized with summer hats and floaty scarves.

Moccis – Sweden/UK

For everyone with extra cold feet and love for traditional design and Oeko-Tex Moccis introduces Svea and Viking, the special woolly Moccis. AW11 will also bring an element of LOVE with, Love for an Owl and Just give me a KISS! There will of course also be a few new family members this autumn like curious Iggly Spike and the courageous King.

MINI A TURE – Denmark

Designed by Anne Katrine Lemvigh Montag from Denmark, for The Le Cirque du MINI A TURE Collection MINI A TURE children find themselves at a traditional circus. They are having a great time pretending to be the circus acts themselves and are entertained by the clowns with their big red noses and oversized shoes!

Frugi – UK

Frugi will whisk you away to a secret garden party inspired organic spring collection, and a Cornish camping adventure for high summer. Exclusively at Bubble London, Organic and ethical clothing company Frugi showcased the new Spring Summer 2012 range. With a step to the wilder side, Frugi sprinkles a myriad of fresh colors and new fabric textures across a magical Secret Garden Party theme, discovering pretty floral prints and the many creatures that live within.

DOT Baby – Portugal

DOT Baby offers a stylish and practical source of maternity and baby clothing and accessories. Founded in 2008, DOT creates delicate baby and mummy clothes with the aim of providing an easy and affordable collection for babies and their mothers.

Little Darlings – UK

Little Darlings is a name synonymous with quality and innovation in children’s clothing and one that is the envy of the industry with its high profile, celebrity following. For S/S 2012, Little Darlings offers a range to appeal to all tastes, from the traditional and pretty, to the funky, bright and bold for girls aged 0-8 years.

Poppy – UK

Based in the North of England, Poppy children’s clothing and accessories feature the adventures of a little girl called Poppy and her dog, Fred. Their other-worldly escapades are illustrated around the hem of each dress. A little storybook comes with every outfit, allowing children to follow the adventures of their favorite characters.

Toby Tiger – UK

Established in 1998 by designer Zoë Mellor Toby Tiger offers bright organic & ethically produced kids clothing! Trained in Fashion and Knitwear, Zoë is also the best selling author of 10 children’s knitwear books. Zoë’s vision for Toby Tiger (named after her son) grew from wanting children to be dressed as children in bold, simple, comfortable yet stylish designs at sensible prices. Cool enough to stand out from the crowd yet affordable for every day.

P’tit chic … de Paris – France

Founded in January 2010 by mother-daughter team Christine Michelon and Jacinthe Bruscemi P’tit chic … de Paris is a French brand for babies and children from 3 months to 6 years old that develops comfortable and elegant clothes that are easy to clean, with funny graphics.

Noa Noa – Denmark

Situated in scenic northern Zealand, Denmark on a beautiful, old farm dating back to the 19th century Noa Noa design and develops their beautiful line for women, girls, and baby collection. Noa Noa Baby was launched at the end of 2010 in response to demands from the fans of Noa Noa miniature asking if the fabulous clothes came in smaller sizes. The Noa Noa Baby collection recently won the Junior Design Award 2011.
