Congratulations to the Royal Family on the birth of Prince George’s little sister Charlotte! How adorable was little George in daddy William’s arms both wearing matching blue sweaters on his way to visit his little sister in the hospital?
Besides betting on the Princess’ name, UK news websites were busy updating the world on what the Royal Family was wearing at the hospital. According to the Telegraph website, Prince George wore a blue cardigan sweater (£38) and matching socks (£7) by independent children’s clothes shop Amaia in Chelsea Green. Dad’s matching blue sweater is reportedly by GANT. The Blue Cord Short and Shirt Set (£59) is by one of my favorite UK designers Rachel Riley from the Heritage Collection.

According to the article, owner Amaia Arrieta said the Duchess had been visiting regularly since the prince was just two months old.
The Duchess visited us in November and bought a few items, including the cardigan and socks the prince was wearing. Last week she bought a few more things but she couldn’t come in so she just rang up to order them and she sent a car for them. She has been coming here since the prince was two months old. Of course, we mums were wondering what Kate wore looking so beautiful at the hospital. According to the Daily Mail, Kate “looked as elegant and stylish as always wearing a spring fresh dress by Jenny Packham”. A favorite brand of the Duchess, you may recall that she also wore a Jenny Packham blue polka dot dress when leaving the hospital with Prince George 22 months ago.
