Dolce & Gabbana Men’s & Boys’ Majolica Mini-Me Collection — Black (Nera)
This is the most dramatic reinterpretation of the print in the men’s lineup. A deep, magnetic black known as Nero Sicilia is set against pure white. The print appears in printed lace, jacquard silk, and macramé lace. To celebrate the Amalfi Coast and invite boys of all ages to “live through La Dolce Vita”, in 2017, Dolce & Gabbana built the original boys’ “Mini Me” Capri Collection in classic blue and white print. Inspired by the Dolce & Gabbana men’s collection, the boys’ collection included a majolica-print shirt / short set, a blue windcheater jacket, a baby boys’ majolica tracksuit, and a matching coastline-striped tee / short set. It was one of the earliest true father-son translations of the print, well before coral, black, and green joined the lineup.
