Each year, Dolce & Gabbana reaches back into Sicily’s ceramic workshops and pulls out a new colorway of the print that’s become the house’s most-loved signature — Majolica. Hand-painted tiles from Caltagirone, reimagined as brocade, poplin, and silk charmeuse. The print is a cornerstone of the house’s Mediterranean DNA, typically appearing as a hero print for Spring/Summer and Pre-Fall. Because it draws on bright Italian ceramics for inspiration, it frequently reappears around late summer into fall in deeper, more seasonal color palettes. Pre-Fall 2026 brings the most vibrant reinterpretation yet: Maiolica Arancione, a sunlit orange that swaps the familiar Mediterranean blue for something closer to a Sicilian sunset.
And the mini-me translation is officially here — from baby poplin to a girls’ sequin skirt, the full family lineup is live and shoppable online.

Dolce & Gabbana hosted a surprise baby shower for Ashanti and Nelly at their New York boutique, ahead of the couple welcoming their first child together. Ashanti wore a Dolce & Gabbana Women’s Yellow Majolica look from the Pre-Fall 2024 collection, celebrating with family and friends amid yellow and white balloons — and, if I had to guess, no shortage of gifts from the brand’s baby collection too.
