Social media has been buzzing over Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter tour, which kicked off on April 28, 2025, at Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium. From its unique blend of country themes and dynamic performances to Blue Ivy’s show-stopping dance moves and 7-year-old Rumi’s adorable debut, the tour has been a celebration of music, legacy, and family. One of the most memorable moments came on the second night, when three generations of the Carter-Knowles family took the stage together: Beyoncé, her daughters, Blue Ivy and Rumi, and their grandmother, Tina Knowles, who was honored for her new book.
For me, the most incredible part of the Cowboy Carter tour has been the festive, custom-designed outfits created specifically for the show. Beyoncé wowed the crowd in couture looks by Burberry, Diesel, Oscar de la Renta, and more. As a celebrity kids’ fashion blogger, my eyes were on Rumi Carter’s wardrobe — featuring adorable mini-me designs from Oscar de la Renta and Cult Gaia that perfectly matched the tour’s glamorous western style.
Night 1 — Custom Oscar de la Renta Gold Dress
For the opening night of the tour, Rumi wore a custom gold dress by Oscar de la Renta. Designed specifically for Rumi, this stunning piece appears to be a mini-me look inspired by the house’s women’s couture collection. The gold fabric shimmered under the stage lights, perfectly matched with a pair of gold cowboy boots.
Night 2 — Custom Silver Sequin Dress
On the second night of the tour — the same night Beyoncé honored grandmother Tina Knowles on stage — Rumi dazzled in a custom silver sequin lace dress. The intricate embroidered pattern caught every beam of stage light, creating a sparkling effect that matched the energy of the performance.
Night 3 — Cult Gaia Kids Charlique Gold Dress
So cute! My favorite designer, Cult Gaia, designed a custom gold leather mini-me dress for Rumi to wear on stage — the third Cult Gaia piece Rumi has worn on this tour. This “mommy & me” style foiled pleated satin mini-dress features a layered hip detail, sweetheart neckline, and puff sleeves, finished with matching gold cowboy boots and braided hair for a true Carter Cowboy country-glam look.
Night 4 — Cult Gaia Kids White Violetta Dress
On the final night of the tour, Rumi looked comfortable and radiant on stage in the Cult Gaia Kids Violetta dress in ivory white — a perfect contrast against the vibrant stage lights, giving Rumi an almost angelic presence. This “mommy & me” style foiled pleated satin mini-dress features ruffle sleeves and a flutter hem. Fun fact: the ivory white colorway appears to be a custom one-off made just for Rumi — the ready-to-wear version of the Violetta dress comes in ballet pink. She finished the look, once again, with matching gold cowboy boots and braided hair.
