While watching the Dolce & Gabbana Mamma Show I fell in love with these colorful children’s artistic creations printed on luxurious white silk. There’s a story behind these dresses, several gorgeous prints are based on drawings by Domenico’s nieces and nephews. The moment I watched the fashion show I was sure that Dolce & Gabbana Junior would create a mini-me version of these gorgeous dresses for girls Fall Winter 2015.
Angelina Jolie Wedding Dress with Children’s Illustrations
I did a bit of research on hand-illustrated dresses based on children’s drawings and I came across Angelina Jolie’s gorgeous wedding dress – a white silk-satin Atelier Versace gown gathered at the bust with elongated train, detailed with the embroidered drawings of her children and also reproduced on the silk veil. The dress was crafted by Donatella herself for the special day, and Jolie added this personal touch by featuring the drawings of her children. Is it possible that Donatella Versace inspired Dolce & Gabbana’s Hand Illustrated Dresses in the Fall-Winter 2015 Collection?
