Albetta kids clothes was created in London in 1998 by designer Annabel Landra and Maraco. The name Albetta is actually the nickname of little Alba, whose mom Annabel and dad were inspired by her birth and decided to create their family business.
Annabel was working for Unicef in West Africa and became inspired by African fabrics and local handcrafts.
Albetta is known for their high quality unique baby onesie that is affordable, imaginative and fun. The emphasis is on handmade babyclothes, baby onesies, baby wear, toddler clothing and kids clothing with techniques such as embroidery, appliqué, crochet and beading. All Albetta baby wear are nickel and azo dye free. By using the finest cottons, we ensure that our baby wear are not only comfortable but also long lasting.
A short while later following the birth of Alba, Albetta kids was started. The young family continued to traveling the world, having two more children as they went.
Focusing on making baby clothes that are fun, practical and colorful, Annabel was inspired by each child’s dress-up interests, like playing pirate and singing nursery rhymes.
Inspired by Vietnamese handicraft skills they decided to their our own baby clothing collection and 26 years later the Albetta collection has expanded to daywear, toys and accessories sold across the globe in Europe, USA and Asia including Vietnam.
