Aravore kids clothes, meaning a piece of heaven/sky, was founded in 2005 by two sisters Yanina and Norah who were inspired by the natural beauty of their childhood spent in South America. Today, Yanina and Nora employ over thirty craftswomen in their workshop in Asuncion and five people in London. Aravore has been awarded the Junior Design Awards, winning the “Best Eco Fashion” category.
“We believe that clothes should be for life, not for one season and each and every one of our garments is made with passion and exquisite attention to detail. The Aravore seamstresses & knitters work on each garment by hand, with love – ensuring garments that are not only superbly crafted and comfortable to wear but can be kept in families for generations to come.”

Aravore’s collection has a refined yet vintage and retro style with an emphasis on high-quality materials that are hand-crafted. Made from fairly traded organic cotton and organic merino wool, each item is beautifully made, incredibly soft, and has its own particular charm and identity. All products are kind to your baby’s skin and kind to the earth, as only the highest quality organic yarns and fabrics are chosen and harmful dyes and bleach are avoided.
Take a peek at the collection and you’ll find soft, dreamy colors, simple shapes, and extraordinary detailing. This luxurious collection with a vintage yet modern feel includes gorgeous vintage knits, matching hand knit accessories for babies and toddlers from 0-6 years as well as exquisite shawls and blankets.
One of my favorite things about the kids’ collection is that each piece includes a swing tag signed by the seamstress – creating a direct connection between the artisan and the child eventually wearing it and making them into perfect gift and collector items.
If you happen to be in London you should visit their The Aravore concept store where you can experience the full collection.
