At the inception of BSA was a man and a vocation, that of Georges Bidegain who founded in 1936 in Pau, France’s Southwest, a company devoted solely to making children’s shoes. During production, each baby shoe passes a minimum of 120 stages before being placed on the baby’s foot. In 1989 they introduced a special water-jet cut production process where shoe pieces are assembled according to traditional or automatic stitching techniques
