Introducing the Bonnie Baby Fall Winter 2013 Creatures Near and Far Collection! Founded in 2005 by Tracey Samuel, Bonnie Baby was originally created as a unisex luxury knitwear brand for babies and has since evolved into a complete collection for 0-5’s comprising of cotton, wovens, knits, and jerseys.
With the motto “buy once, buy well, pass it on”, Bonnie Baby continues to aim to produce affordable luxury pieces for children that can be enjoyed time and again.
For Autumn Winter 2013 Bonnie Baby takes a charming journey with creatures near and far – from the deep dark forest where the native red squirrel and wisened old owl appear on a range of tees, playsuits, and blankets as knitted motifs. You’ll find background colors navy, berry pink and soft grey that feature creatures in contrasting colors.
Traditional stitches of polar bear fair isle and jacquards sit alongside chunky hand knits all in natural fibers which are manifested in slouchy hats, cardigans and dresses in a soft dove grey, blush pink or cool blue.
Bonnie Baby Origami Line
A second theme in the Fall-Winter 2013 collection is Origami where woodland and winter-scape animals come together for an enchanted journey to the Orient. Don’t miss the knitted navy sweater dress featuring an appliqued Master Penguin in raspberry pink while the astute Mister Owl in blues, greys, and green adds a unique touch to a stripy tee.
Bonnie Baby Geometric Knits Line
Another theme is Geometric Knits with jacquard stripes in shades of berry pinks, minty greens or a bright multi-colored mix of orange grey and blue, create a fun twist to the Bonnie Baby Shawls. You’ll find applique owls perching on blankets & separates. Fun zig-zags add a quirky twist to striped cardigans, dresses, jumpers & hats. Rose, violet & orange complement each other in an adorable striped dress complete with the zigzag pattern.
Bonnie Baby + Garbo&Friends Collaboration
For Autumn Winter 2013 Bonnie Baby unveils exclusive collaboration with Garbo&Friends – a unique combination of Bonnie Baby jersey and knit with the Garbo&Friends ‘bubbles’ print. This wonderful capsule collection of garments for baby and child includes a fully reversible snowsuit in blush pink or dove grey.
Garbo&Friends is the brainchild of founder Susann K Nemirovsky, a wonderful storytelling illustrator, her designs have a focus on storytelling prints with a playful spirit, to encourage and inspire the minds of children.
