For Spring Summer 2013 Bonnie Baby’s collection is inspired by the circus with its wonderful colors, characters, and candy stripes.
Discover a new range of circus-inspired prints: candy-striped cotton feature on a range of prom dresses and little-gathered cap-sleeved tops with matching shorts; a cotton print sprinkled with confetti apples in mouthwatering fairground colors adorns a range of girls dresses, tops and tutu skirts – given extra sparkle with gold lurex waistbands.
Remember charmed summer days and starry nights when the circus or the funfair came to town? Up went the Big Top, on went the circus lights and in came the acrobats, animals, clowns and lion tamers for a magical evening of entertainment. The second theme for Spring Summer 2013 is the Mini Explorer where Bonnie Baby, armed with a magnifying glass explores the garden and discovers a world of daisy chains and dandelions clocks, spider webs and spiders to inspire their collection.
Hot pink and grey jerseys are printed with funky gold metallic dandelion clocks while sweet dresses, tees, and playsuits are appliquéd with daisy chains. You’ll also find a pretty Enchanted Forest print, inspired by the secret delights to be found in the garden, which feature on dresses and cotton tops.
The signature Bonnie baby knit is very much a motif running through the collection. The circus lion has a splendid knitted mane and there are little-knitted touches such as frills on a jersey or a contrasting covered button that make it uniquely Bonnie baby. All the designs also mix and match with a collection of Bonnie Baby’s signature cardigans that are beautifully made and will see you through chillier summer days – the perfect multi-seasonal buy.
