Chandamama, meaning moon in hindi, was created by designer Chantal Blommerde who studied fashion at Parsons School of Design.
Handmade or hand finished in India, Chandamama uses beautiful fabrics and loves colors, brilliant ones as well as halftones. The brand embraces the use of the old technique of Indian block printing and the use of natural Indian fabrics and dyes.

Chandamama Spring Summer 2014 Collection
The amazing sight of bright colored saris and turbans against the Rajasthan desert landscape being the inspiration for the colors in the SS14 collection. Part of our ongoing tiny print series on Indian cotton, the prints look like little dots from a distance and from close = tiny hearts. Experience the magical combination of Chandamama’s bright colors, beautiful fabrics, prints and embroidery.
The company supports children’s projects in India with the donation of a portion of profits each year.
