Rejecting the stiff formality of the 50s fashion, she created soft, body-conscious clothes from fine fabrics and called them “luxury Pret-a-porter”. Unique for their time, they are beautifully made clothes available off the rack. Chloe Girl’s clothes are uptown meets downtown, pulled-together and still casual, preened yet carefree – all the things a girl would ideally like to be.
