Francoise Lama Solet Studio is a French Boutique for Children who love handmade custom fashion and is run by sole designer seamstress Francoise Lama-Solet. Born in Paris, France, Francoise Lama Solet began sewing at a young age hoping to pursue her dream of working for the ‘Couture Ateliers’ of the big designers or Les Ateliers Lesage. Francoise Lama Solet dresses are in a class of their own with wonderful frills and bright colored fabrics.
I believe in creativity, handmade products, quality products, originality, artistic creations, workmanship, uniqueness… All these reflect my designs. I’m constantly brainstorming for new design ideas, looking for new techniques that I can use in my clothes. They are meant to be unique and different from what you can find in the stores. – Francoise
How Francoise Started Her Boutique Girls Collection
When Francoise moved from France to the US she decided to start her own children’s clothing design business. A self-taught designer, sewing has always been Francoise’s passion. She began selling to friends and at local craft fairs. Her business has grown over the years and today her collections have been “traveling” around the world: USA, Canada, Latin America, Europe, Middle East, Australia.
All of Francoise’s designs are of high quality, durable, serged and professionally finished. Each item comes with a sewn in label and a hand tag, carefully folded, placed in a clear plastic bag, and wrapped with tissue paper.
