Gun explains: “Yes, my son started it all. I began thinking seriously about a children’s clothing business in America when I couldn’t find beautiful quality pure cotton baby clothes like those I’d known in Sweden! After watching friends go wild over some soft Swedish cotton knits that we brought back to America, the big idea for our first little catalog was born. Late in 1983, our “best little children’s catalog ever” was produced in Sweden in two whirlwind weeks, and the Hanna Andersson headquarters were in our garage!”
Hanna Andersson’s design motto is to “Let Kids Be Kids”. The collection for baby, girls, and boys is filled with adorable clothing that gives them the freedom to play, explore and be comfy without worrying about getting messy and feeling confined or itchy.
