IdaT kids clothes was founded in April 2005 in Coopenhagen, Denmark by head designer Ida Trads. With her humoristic and sweet illustrations, Ida has given life to numerous wild, fun and sweet animals all over the world.
IdaT focuses on designing quality clothing for newborns to kindergarten children (size 56 to 128) and presents a new collection twice a year, spring and fall, each time with new animals and colors.
The IdaT design is loved around the world in countries as different as Finland, Germany, the rest of Europe, and the USA.
It all started with the monkey, who actually should have been the character of a children’s book, but instead got to be the front figure of IdaT together with the happy baby face, the IdaT logo. The happy baby face represents the happy child who wants to play and learn. The child who wants to be a part of the color full IdaT universe.
Since IdaT was launched in April 2005, Ida Trad’s “zoo” has grown rapidly starting with the little monkey which is the symbol of this adorable children’s brand.
IdaT is characterized by the animals, happy baby face, and the palette of wonderful colors of each collection.
You’ll find a wide variety of colors, animal sizes, and variations that can all be styled in a unique way. IdaT is also known for bringing humor into her collection, making “the scariest spider the best friend in the world.”
Wanting to make a different, IdaT believes strongly in giving back to the community. One example is that IdaT attended an event to benefit the Children’s Cancer Foundation in Denmark.
With their design skills, they decorated a set of children’s furniture by designer Arne Jacobsen. The furniture was then put on auction and the amount was donated to the Children’s Cancer Foundation.
