Leopold & Livia has launched a new gorgeous girls collection for Spring Summer 2014 – “I was dancing by the lake one midsummer night”.
These delicate garments complete the outlook of a graceful, beautiful and mysterious älva with a touch of unpredictability.
A perfect wardrobe for a chic little girl, in the Spring Summer collection you’ll discover beautiful dresses, sophisticated jumpsuits, and chic black leather shorts with a pattern in their own originally designed embossed leather.

For the Spring Summer 2014 collection I was inspired by the world of elves. In Scandinavian folklore, an elf is called älva in Swedish. The Swedish älvor were stunningly beautiful girls who lived in the forest with an elven king. They were graceful and mysterious, but at the same time rather unpredictable and mischievous. The elves could be seen dancing over meadows, particularly at night and on misty mornings. Often, they were invisible and you could only hear their laughter and songs. In some tales, they could transform into animals and insects. – Suzana Stojanovska, Leopold & Livia designer.
My favorite dress is the collection is the white silk dress with Swarovski elements hand beaded on the collar that adds a magic sparkle.
Leopold & Livia Fabrics and Colors
The collection in the SS14 collection shows a timeless elegance through delicate fabrics and colors and refined sewing techniques and finishing.
You’ll find fabrics made of natural materials such as cotton, cotton voile, silk, and leather. Light and soft materials are used to enhance the feeling of lightness. Delicate silks emphasize the illusion of evanescence, something fading.
The silhouette and details of the collection are influenced mainly by the wild forest flowers. Another highlight of the collection is their own designed embossed leather that perfects a sophisticated look.
Inspired by the light, fragile, and graceful älva (elfs), the color scheme for the SS14 collection are delicate whites, subtle pinks and sophisticated and dramatic black.
