LIVLY kids clothes, founded in 2011 by Swedish designer Lisa Carrol, creates soft, wearable clothes for children with a style that is clean-cut, simple and charming. With a love for children, a passion for design, and a fascination for silhouettes, LIVLY creates clothes for all the lively and lovely children in the world.
About LIVLY’s Designer – Lisa Carrol
Growing up behind the scenes of the Theater in Stockholm, Lisa fell in love with beautifully crafted clothing. At a young age of five, she created her first dress began her love and passion for designing children’s clothing.
Shortly after LIVLY’s introduction to the fashion world in 2011, Lisa was named the Designer of the Year by Mama, the prestigious Swedish magazine.
The heart and sole of LIVLY is the fun and playful designs whose photos remind me of children’s fairytale books. The brand’s core philosophy is to use children friendly materials that are of the finest quality yet able to withstand the wear on the playground or to dazzle the party.
Using the world’s softest cotton is key to producing soft and long-lasting clothes. Handpicked in Peru, LIVLY uses prima cotton to craft its clothes.
LIVLY Dresses Royal Wedding – Princess Madeleine of Sweden
LIVLY was chosen to design the flower girl and pageboy ensembles for Princess Madeleine of Sweden and Mr. Christopher O’Neill’s wedding.
On June 8th, when the church doors opened, four wonderful flower girls and two elegant pageboys walked in, hand in hand, all dressed in LIVLY.
Flower girls dresses were made in cream silk, with Lily green belts which gathered into a bow in the back, paired together with headbands made out of pearls and handmade paper flowers. The royal couple chose LIVLY’s Mary Jane shoes in white patent.
Pageboy outfits were made in light wool, and knickers were died in-house in LIVLY’s studio in Stockholm. The jacket was also made of light wool with Lily green silk bands and silver piping.
I was very honored when LIVLY was asked to design the flower girl and pageboy ensembles. It was a delightful design process where the bride and the groom were very much involved. It turned out to be a spectacular wedding for the wonderful couple, and Sweden got to show its best side” says Lisa Carrol who is the founder and designer of LIVLY.
