Pale Cloud‘s Spring Summer 2015 features a range of fresh prints on lightweight fabrics with silhouettes and colors inspired by ancient Japanese culture. Designed by Marion Reynolds, since 2010 Pale Cloud aims to make a return of evening glamor in everyday dressing for girls ages 4-14 years.
This is the largest and most diverse collection I have designed so far. We have used some new fabrics that have the luxurious hand-feel that Pale Cloud customers have come to expect but are easier to wear for busy girls. The colors are bolder and I had a lot of fun designing and drawing the prints, especially the variations of the Veiltail Fish! – Marion Reynolds.
A few of my favorite standout pieces in the Pale Cloud SS15 Collection includes the Tabitha Dress. Made from a tencel and linen mix, the Tabitha Dress features pintuck details at the neckline and belted waist, zip back fastening and two side pockets.
The Ora Dress is made of 100% silk crepe with a hand-drawn goldfish print. The dress features a gorgeous silk chiffon wrap front with belted elasticated waist and two side pockets.
