Meet Mina Koo – Petite Bowtie Founder & Designer
Mina Koo is on a mission to change this by offering clothes to make boys look cute and preppy without us all having to worry about paying to dry clean every spill and stain after all boys will be boys.
Inspired by her four-year-old son, Koo created her new boys only line for 2 – 6 years old boys to fill what she felt was a void in the kids’ marketplace.
No stranger to the fashion world, Mina Koo is mostly known for her elegant and beautiful lingerie designs that have been displayed alongside well-known designers such as Donna Karan, Michael Kors, and Christian Dior among others. Her merchandise has also been displayed in upscale department stores such as Neimans, Saks Fifth Ave here at home and abroad.

Petite Bowtie has successfully fused form and function with its carefully tailored designs. Staying true to the form of a child, each article of clothing is made to look both fashionable and fun with its wide range of colors.
Using a process called garment dying, each piece is sewn together first and then individually dyed and washed. This results in a pre-shrunk, pre-washed and “broken in” laid back west coast look and feel to the garment. This along with thoughtfully selected fabrics which allow for maximum comfort and range of motion for active young boys.
