Introducing The Soft Gallery Spring Summer 2014 Nostalgia Collection. Feeling a bit nostalgic to your childhood lately? You’re not the only one…Soft Gallery’s Spring Summer 2014 collection ‘Nostalgia’ is inspired by childhood memories beautifully made into prints and embroideries created by a strong international line-up of visual artists. The result – new unique and poetic items for children, women and the home.
Pieces of memoirs have inspired this season’s prints, fabrics, colors, silhouettes, and ambiance. Through personal stories from the past, we have put together a magical, sophisticated and humorous collection with a scent of childhood joy,” explains Barbara Hvidt and Tine Holt Møller, the design duo behind Soft Gallery.
Every season Soft Gallery located in Copenhagen, Denmark commissions visual artists, who’s individual and distinctive talents are featured in the collections as prints and hand embroideries. This season inspirational theme of the collection, nostalgia, has lead to a burst of creativity from the collaborative artists from around the globe including Scotland, England, Denmark, Spain, USA, Israel, Hungary, and Germany.
Soft Gallery Collection Highlights
The collection color schemes are summery and dusty, created around a palette of lavender, light rose, coral and neon pink, vanilla and crème, aqua and elephant grey, light yellow, acid dye indigo, denim and vintage black. These colors are carefully blended enhancing soft t-shirts, endearing dresses, cool shorts, trousers, and cozy sweats.
Origami and floral prints, purple pencil strokes, a leopard print in new summer shades, and the classic Soft Gallery owls are some of the many unique prints that are part of the clothing, accessories and home collection.
Soft gallery has a new beachwear to their collection including bikinis, for toddlers and teens as well as caps, sun hats, bags, hair clips and hair bands.
For babies, you’ll find a special collection including jean jackets, body stocking with frills, army pants, sweet dresses, and jumpsuits.
