Inspired by her daughters, Teresa and Anna Sole, Barbara Barbantini began creating in 2010 mini jewels, dolls and other items for their bedroom.
Her brand Stella Stellina girls clothes are immediately selected through the eight finalists of WHO’S ON NEXT? , the first edition of the contest for uncovering new talents in children’s fashion by Pitti Immagine, Altaroma, and Vogue Bambini.
Stella stellina showed the first collection in Pitti Bimbo and Playtime Paris (Jan ’11).
The AW12 collection is inspired by the tale of “Chaperon Rouge”: polka dot dresses, capes and caps handmade with organic wool and a lovely selection of Bijoux with the illustrations created by the French artist Anais Génot.
Everything is “heartmade” in Italy!
Unfortunately it looks like Barbara has not continued to design new Stella Stellina girls collections. Wishing Barbara the best on her next adventure.
