Young Versace VUNK? Discover the Young Versace Boys Punk Rock ‘n Roll Fall Winter 2013 Look.
Donatella Versace is giving the punk look a new name this Fall Winter 2013. She’s calling it “VUNK” (Versace Punk) which is Donatella’s modern take on the unruly style, which pulls on the rebellious threads of the past and the glamor of the Versace label.
You’ll find the VUNK look throughout the Women, Men, Young Adult Versus, and her children’s collection – Young Versace.
Young Versace VUNK Fashion Show at Rome’s Palazzo Corsini
VUNK break dancers and freshly painted graffiti walls set the mood at the Young Versace FW13 Fashion Show, Palazzo Corsini in Rome. The iconic elements of the Versace Maison were revealed through a series of glamor chic creations, adorned with totally original rock ‘n’ roll detailing.
Some of my favorite pieces in the VUNK collection are the punk-inspired wild mix of color patterns featuring the Versace Medusas that have a graffiti look to them.
You’ll also find graffiti-inspired t-shirts featured on the runway for the Women’s FW13 collection. There’s nothing like a coordinated mother and son VUNK look!
I also really love the black and white print patterns in the Young Versace collection. Take for example the boys Medusa Versace logo pattern in a full suit (above on the right). Inspired by the men’s print pattern suits in the Spring 2011 collection, these boys black soft jersey blazer and trousers are super “VUNKy” and comfy with their soft and stretchy lining.
More great looks in the collection are the Young Versace Peace icon that appears here in black and white sweatsuit pattern. You’ll also find t-shirts with the Peace Icon and a gold ring Versace logo. Another cool outfit is this expressive streetwear hoodie and hat, perfect for your little breakdancer. The opulent chain pattern features Medusas, logo and frets pendants.
