Zara offers the latest trends internationally in an environment of thought-out design. Its stores, located in cities across Europe, America, and Asia, offer fashion inspired by today’s tastes, wishes, and lifestyles.
There’s a story behind the Zara name. The first Zara store was opened in 1975 in a central street in downtown La Coruña, Galicia, Spain by Amancio Ortega. The store was originally named Zorba by Ortega after the classic film “Zorba the Greek.” However two blocks away there was a bar named Zorba whose owner claimed it would be confusing to have two Zorbas. The molds for the letters in the sign were already arranged so they just rearranged them to see what they could find, and they found Zara.

Zara has always been a personal favorite of our family. Whenever we visit a Zara store we all find something to buy at reasonable prices. You’ll find a wide variety of items for babies from casual to formal. One of the best parts of Zara is they make the most adorable shoes that complete any of their outfits.
For kids, there are great basic pieces that come in a wide variety of colors at great prices. If you have a special party you’ll be sure to find gorgeous dresses that have a traditional European look to them. For boys, there are lots of great shirts, jackets, and pants to choose from. Plus, there are tons of cool shoes to choose from.
Another nice thing about Zara is that when your daughter gets to her tween/teens she’ll find lots of cool looks at Zara TRF.
