The Philippine’s first kids brand on Dashin Fashion is googoo&gaga. So far it’s the only brand I’ve discovered from The Philippines, if you know of more Philippine baby, girls or boys brands I’d be excited to learn more about them!
googoo&gaga kids clothes, designed and made in the Philippines, is a collection of art-driven onesies and t-shirts for babies and children ages 0 to 14 years. Inspired by the hot, colorful, and chaotic surroundings of Manila, each limited-edition piece is created with a dose of love, a pinch of madness, and full color, super-soft, all-over sublimation printing.
Our collections feature all-over, bold-colored prints. Themes vary from nature, animal, peace and floral prints for the girls to urban culture, music, and tattoo-inspired graphics for the boys. Girls designs feature a wide range of bright pink, aqua, and purple tones and the boys range feature darker hues of blues, grays, and greens. The colors and graphics are not predetermined and are always a result of the designer’s whim. The style in which all of the designs are made always involve a little bit of madness from inception to the finished product. – AJ and Audrey Dimarucot
Born in 2008, googoo&gaga was created by husband and wife team AJ and Audrey Dimarucot. AJ is an artist specializing in t-shirt graphics who has designed for the late Michael Jackson, Alicia Keys and the band Panic at the Disco. He has won several design contests at Threadless.com and Designbyhumans.com. His current clients include Nike and Adidas.
