Seeing that I spend many hours of my day reading and writing about kids fashion, I love it when people think outside of the box and introduce fresh and original fashion marketing ideas. One of my favorite concepts I discovered this Summer was the Kids Shop at ENK Children’s Club trade show that took place in NYC this July.
While I was wandering from booth to booth meeting kids fashion designers I noticed 4 adorable mini fashionistas walking the exhibition floor scouting out their favorite outfits.
Later I learned that these four fashionistas, who indeed are the ultimate consumers, were invited to play the role of both retail buyers and kids fashion models.
When the pint-sized professionals visited each booth, participating Children’s Club exhibitors pitched their new Spring/Summer 2014 collections. These little fashionistas, Larkin, Booch, Chase and Jolie, were given the opportunity to style themselves from head to toe in the best outfits of the season.
Chase knew exactly what swim trunks he wanted at the LeClub booth.
After choosing their favorite outfits, the Kids Shop fashionistas then modeled their selections in a pop-up photo studio inside the exhibition.
