The 71st edition of Pitti Bimbo took place June 24-26, 2010 at the Fortezza da Basso in Florence. 539 brands from around the globe exhibited at 8 stages in the world of children’s fashion: Pitti Bimbo, Sports Generation, New View, Kids’ Design, SuperStreet, EcoEthic, Apartment, and Pop Up Stores.

Fashion Shows – On the Catwalk were Spring/Summer 2010 collections by designers: Miss Blumarine, Sarabanda, Miss Grant, Elsy, Calvin Klein, Fendi, Woolrich, and Monnalisa.

WHO IS ON NEXT? – A new competition was launched searching for new talented designers. At the next fair in January, four winners will be announced – one in each of the following categories Baby (0-3 years), Kid (4-8 years), Junior (8-10 years) and Accessories. Twin-Set Girl – Italy

Twin-Set Girl from Italy launched its Spring/Summer 2011 collection at Pitti Immagine Bimbo. A free and easy, contemporary style, combined with 1970s glam touches this unique collection that collection is an x-small tribute to contemporary girls with an outstanding personality.

Il Gufo – Italy

The luxury childrenswear brand Il Gufo presented their Spring/Summer 2011 season collection at The Pitti Immagine Bimbo Trade Show. Delicate turquoise, coral and sand tones combined with the more spring-like hues of blue and pearl grey flow onto soft natural fabrics, like linens, cotton and voiles for a collection as refreshing as a sea breeze.

Replay&Sons – Italy

At Pitti Immagine Bimbo, Replay&Sons launched their Spring Summer 2011 Collection – Dreaming of catching a colorful check butterfly. The Spring Summer 2011 collection is designed for true free spirits, for joyful, carefree kids who love playing outdoors and are always on the lookout for a new adventure to dive into.

FENDI – Italy

FENDI debuts at Pitti Immagine Bimbo with natural and simple elegance in the poetic universe of children, with a very special inspiration and in whispered tones. It’s a return to Made in Italy, to research, to top quality.

Roma e Toska – Germany

Roma e Toska always tells a story. As one of the most exclusive brand in Europe for girl’s fashion, Roma e Toska emphasizes the individual style of each girl and is inspired by children’s fantasy. For Summer 2011, Roma e Toska’s theme is the Circus – the poor traveling circus (1180 – 1950) the tramp (Charlie Chaplin), the world of fantasy (Fellini)…

Ermanno Scervino Junior – Italy

Ermanno Scervino Junior presented their mini-couture at Pitti Immagine Bimbo. The lines apply refined tailoring techniques and use prized silk fabrics including organza, creponne, and muslin. Colors include white, pink, fuchsia and aqua green – with enhanced inserts of Valencia lace, macramé, and raw-cut edges.

Opililai – Italy

Opililai‘s Spring/Summer 2011 Collection is an eclectic yet extravagant line that is always different. Opililai unites different styles, creating a complete collection, without losing sight of the brand’s identity and distinct features.

DOUUOD – Italy

DOUUOD creates comfortable clothing for everyday use……with a simple, romantic, practical, and universal style. DOUUOD is a woman and kids collection from 1 month to 14 years. The collection is designed for the morning, the afternoon and evening party, with fabrics, colors, consistency, finishing, and details.

Woolrich – Italy

For the next Woolrich spring-summer kids’ collection, polyglot and international are the keywords, drawing inspiration from an itinerary that touches upon three of the world’s largest cities: Tokyo, New York, and Paris.

Val Max – Italy

Oh! Soleil – Spain

The Oh! Soleil Spring Summer 2011 Collection offers intense Colors, great and very trendy cuts out/patterns, accessories very funny, nightgown and pajamas made with latest trend tissues and a small prêt a porter collection.

Sarabanda – Italy

In Sarabanda’s new collection, which draws inspiration from different themes, little girls and little boys play the main characters in present and retro settings. The theme of CINEMA features the little boy who plays the film-maker and chooses British-taste clothes: jackets, cardigans and checkered fabrics; the little girl plays the role of the leading actress who wears stylish garments, plenty of stripes and a touch of bright blue. Aeronautica Militare Junior – Italy

Aeronautica Militare Junior offers a unisex mini-adult collection for kids ages 2-14. All garments are custom made with original logos/patches of Italy’s Aeronautic Military Force and Acrobatic National Patrol “Frecce Tricolori”.

Submarine Kids – Brazil

Created in 1993 in Brazil by sister and brother team Deborah and Marcelo Soriano, Submarine originally focused only on swimwear for girls. Today Submarine also offers a full range of clothing.
