One of the highlights for me at Pitti Bimbo was the Monnalisa Fall Winter Fashion Show that took place on Thursday evening at the Palazzo Corsini in Firenze. Located right on the banks of the Arno River, the late baroque style of the Palazzo Corsini was the perfect setting for launching the new Monnalisa Fall-Winter 2016-17 collection.

The fashion show took place in the beautiful Salone Donna Elena room fit for a princess including fresco painted ceilings in true Firenze Machiavelli style.

Being invited as a member of the press I was lucky enough to get a front-row seat at the fashion show. Next to me sat the popular Italian Gentleman blogger, Marchese. We did a fashion blogger selfie and posted on Instagram.
I couldn’t help notice the huge crew of photographers eagerly waiting for the fashion show to begin. A buzz of excitement was in the air!
Behind the scenes, Monnalisa mini models were getting ready to cut a dash on the runway!
Monnalisa Little Girl Floral Collection Fall Winter 2016
The 15-minute fashion show started with the Monnalisa little girl collection with the most adorable little girls walking down the catwalk. I was a bit confused filming at the beginning of the show when the models walked out another exit instead of turning around and walking back down the catwalk. Next time I’ll know better.

When I shared the Monnalisa show with my 12 year old daughter she loved the Monnalisa Chic collection, but even better was the DJs choice of music which set the youthful atmosphere for the show.

When leaving the show I met the most adorable little boy model with his gorgeous mom who cut a dash on the runway modeling the Monnalisa fashion house boys brand Hitch Hitch.
