Dolce & Gabbana Girl is my all-time favorite mini-me collection. Their girls’ dresses are taken directly from the women’s Milan runway show and lookbook. Yes, the dresses are pricey but they are true heirloom pieces that can be passed down from generation to generation, not to mention the highest quality fabrics and manufacturing.
Last week I was looking for my favorite holiday dresses for Spring and was inspired to make a video comparing the Dolce & Gabbana Spring / Summer women’s Milan runway collection and the girls Spring / Summer 2014 collection.

Dolce & Gabbana Spring / Summer women’s and girl’s collection are divided into a number of trends. The first is what I call the Golden Goddesses which makes both mommy and daughters look simply gorgeous in golden lace trim from head to toe. And don’t forget the matching gold coin belts, purses, and shoes.
Black & White
I absolutely love the mommy and girl black & white full silk flower dress. It’s stunning and is perfect if you’re looking for an identical look. I also think this would make a gorgeous flower girl dress – actually, any of these girls dresses would!
The theme for the Dolce & Gabbana Spring / Summer 2014 collection is “VISIONS AMONGST TEMPLES IN ANCIENT SICILY.” The designers bring us on an imaginary journey to rediscover ancient Sicily, where history and myth come together. In the collection, you’ll find the inspiration of Greek temples and theater reinterpreted with fabric made into Lithography of ancient Sicilian temples.
What would a Spring girls collection be without a plethora of gorgeous flower prints? I have to say that this blue silk floral dress with hand-sewn flowers and a gold coin belt is one of the most exquisite dresses I’ve seen in a long time. It’s an exact mini-mi of the women’s seen on the runway in Milan.
