Meet The Designer Anne Willi
Anne Willi, a Parisian of Swiss origin, was educated from the age of 3 to 18 years at the Steiner School, a free environment and a childhood spent in artistic surroundings.
After two years of studying at Esmod, one of the best French Fashion design colleges, Anne mastered fashion design. She then put her talents to good use producing costumes for modern dance.
When she was 22 Anne left for Tel Aviv where she launched her first collection.
After finding success with lines for women and men distributed in her two boutiques, as well as Europe and Asia, Anne Willi returned to Paris. Anne Willi in 1998 was the first designer to move into Rue Keller in the 11th district of Paris, opening a “boutique-atelier” (shop-studio) in her own name.
In 2002 Anne launched her first children’s collection and in 2005 she exhibited her kids’ collection at the Pitti Immagine Bimbo kids trade show. In 2003 Anne expanded her business by opening her independent workshop next to the boutique while exporting her clothes to shops around the world. In 2010, the Parisian brand opened a new shop in the Saint-Germain-des-Prés neighborhood. In 2013 Anne she expanded her operation by opening shops in Brooklyn, New York.
