es + es is inspired by the lovely little things that bring us joy every day. Our goal is to offer our clients a fantastic, high-end shopping experience for beautiful, heirloom-quality children’s apparel. That one es + es dress will be the one that she remembers, explains Mallory Kaufman.
About es + es Designer Mallory Kaufman
After graduating from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City, Mallory Kaufman opened es + es in August of 2009. Today, at twenty-six years old, Mallory has worked with some of the best retailers in the industry.
After her graduation from FIT, Mallory realized that she was not interested in contributing to someone else’s vision.
I want to create a brand that inspires people, and stirs an emotional connection between the garment and the client, explained Mallory.
es + es at Los Angeles Style Fashion Week
In March 2013, es + es debuted the Fall Winter 2013 collection at Los Angeles Style Fashion Week. The es + es collection is constantly mixing textiles like slick faux leather with confectionery layers of frothy tulle.
One of the favorite looks for the season is the black wool “Laila” Jacket, paired with the tulle “Harper” dress, in a bright orchid shade.
“Once Upon A Time” Dress at the Cannes Film Festival
In 2009, Faith Wladkya wore the es + es “Once Upon A Time” dress, to the “Blue Valentine” premiere, alongside Ryan Gosling and Michelle Wililams. This beautiful silk dress reads “once upon a time there lived a prince who wanted to marry a princess.”
The “Once Upon A Time” dress has beautiful beaded details, finished with an attached tulle skirt and matching neck bow.
“At es + es our belief that all must be aware of our global footprint, and so we use sustainable textiles whenever possible and produce domestically. This way we are able to minimize waste and continue to provide a high-quality product,” Mallory Kaufman.
