The collection sees the launch of Grubbies’ first dungaree shorts, the classic “Riders”, with the signature Grubbies embroidery and retro touches like vintage rivets, patch pockets and colored piping. For girls is a cute-as-a-button little playsuit with the same bright, plastic zips that have made the “Prairie” dress so popular. Again, there’s lots of wear to be had – the “Scoot” will look as adorable with bare arms and legs in the summer as it will with tights and wellies later in the year.

Grubbies has once again teamed up with celebrated children’s book illustrator, Marion Lindsay, to create two new designs for their versatile and covetable kerchiefs for boys and girls. Marion’s designs for SS13 celebrate the surprisingly rich and varied sea life along the unglamorous, but much-loved, Thames Estuary coastline which the brand calls home. Seahorses, flounders, mackerel and lugworm trails are depicted in beautiful, natural colors in Marion Lindsay’s distinctive, quirky style.
