Hartstrings Kids Clothes, founded by Peggy Hart Earle in 1979, designs classic, original, and timeless children’s clothing with the traditional parent in mind. In 1997, the KC Parker brand was introduced, a collection of updated coordinating separates sizes 4 – 16. Hartstrings and KC Parker are sold in upscale boutiques and department stores throughout the US and internationally.
Hartstrings symbolizes the essence of classic American kids’ styling with a modern view. You’ll find unique, high-quality, coordinated sportswear and occasion dresses for girls from baby to 12 years.
For over 30 years, the Hartstrings brand & dedicated people behind it, have carefully crafted timeless memories through their distinctive traditional product & have cultivated an impressive following of loyal consumers through the generations,” says Marco Srour, President of Parigi Group, “we will continue to apply the attributes of quality & authenticity, while protecting & maintaining the heritage of the Hartstrings & kc parker brands that consumers have come to expect throughout the years. It is with great pride that we preserve the Hartstrings brand legacy to celebrate the gift of children.
The success of the girls’ brand brought the introduction in 1986 of Hartstrings’ baby boy clothes offering better quality and a more modern take on boys’ brands. The new brand for boys has been re-launched under the name Kitestrings for Spring 2012.
For the tween and teen market, in 1997, KC Parker was launched for the fashion-savvy 8-12-year-old girl. The brand is designed for girls who grew up wearing the Hartstrings baby girl label. You’ll find a balance between traditional family values and pop culture/trends. Girls will enjoy everyday and occasion wear, fashion, and core basics.
Since I published this article, Hartstrings has discontinued its kids’ clothing brand. Discover more kids clothing from the USA including Tommy Hilfiger Kids and Marc Jacob Kids.
