MeMini kids fashion from Norway was launched in the Spring of 2006 by designer Kristine Vikse who creates nostalgic style children’s clothing with a classical Nordic touch. Headquartered in Haugesund, a small town on the west coast of Norway, MeMini clothing is designed for a northern climate where the seasons are constantly changing.
The little farm which has been in the family for generations gives a lot of inspiration, and many of the MeMini collections have been created here. The farm has also been the location for many of the MeMini catalog photo shoots, explains Kristine Vikse.
MeMini collections, inspired by Norwegian writer Astrid Lindgren’s wonderful children’s stories, are based on simple, cute designs in knitting and woven cotton for boys, girls, and babies between the ages 0-12 years.
MeMini by Kristine Vikse creates Nordic-inspired clothes from Norway. MeMini’s motto is to create comfortable clothes that can withstand children’s us while playing and at parties. Materials used in garments are chosen carefully and tested to withstand repeated washings.
While MeMini aims to make all products of pure natural qualities, sometimes they add a little extra for sustainability. Recently MeMini launched its NATURE HARMONY tag signifying that all cotton products are of organic quality.
MeMini wishes you a playful spring and summer! Imagine flying away on a bundle of balloons with the amazing landscape of Norway under your feet…These cuties had a go and almost made it! The spring/summer collection of MeMini is dedicated to the 50`s playful palette of candy pastels and whimsical clothing.
