Soft Gallery is a unique and innovative clothing label that was established in 2007, in Copenhagen, Denmark, by Tine Holt Møller and Barbara Hvidt. The concept behind Soft Gallery emerged from their deep-felt interest in creative talents, and the idea of combining art and fashion for children. Together Tine and Barbara have created this unique and different kind of children’s label with a brand ethos of collaboration with local and international artists, commissioned to create artwork featured in the Soft Gallery.
The idea behind Soft Gallery is to create exclusive children’s clothing designed for kids that aren’t afraid to stand out from the crowd. Soft Gallery aims to stimulate and open the children’s eyes to a world of creativity and to broaden their way of thinking.
It’s all about love for the Soft Gallery with a collection named “LOVE is” and it features the tender care from a series of commissioned artists, who have decorated styles in a fashion that combines warm autumn thoughts with the tenderness of mystical fairy tales and enchanted forests.
“Without love, there would not be as much art, inspiration, and affection. In our latest “LOVE is” collection we encourage people to dress to uplift the change of the season”, says fashion photographer and designer Barbara Hvidt, who together with designer Tine Holt Møller founded Soft Gallery in 2007 initiated by a shared interest in art and creative collaboration.
In each collection Soft Gallery creates a “living gallery on fabric” combining art and clothing in collaboration with artists from around the world. Every season Soft Gallery commissions a unique selection of visual artists, whose creations will be featured in the collections as prints and hand embroideries.
