On from June 21 to 23, 2013 the second edition of India Kids Fashion Show took place in New Delhi. Over the 3 day event, approximately 1000 people attended including fashion houses, production houses, celebrities, and of course the designers, kiddie models and their families!
IKFS, India’s only exclusive kids show celebrated kids fashion with a fashion show featuring collections from India by Kanchan Bawa, shopalldaykids.com, Kirti Rathore, Sumit Das Gupta, Alka Kumar. International designer collections by Paul Smith Junior (UK) and Elif Cigizoglu (Turkey) were also presented at the fashion show.

India Kids Fashion Show started with the designer shopalldaykids.com from India who presented around 30 pieces in their little boys and girls collection. Love the bright colors of dresses, shirts, tops, and nightwear. Their colorful range of casual wear was unique and comfortable to for the upcoming season.
Kanchan Bawa Princess Collection, India
“My darlings dream it and I make it!” – Kanchan Bawa. Every little girl has a dream, a dream in which she is dressed up like her favorite princess. Designer Kanchan Bawa showcased a blend of Indian, western and indo-western party wear range for little princesses. The collection was inspired by the Disney princesses and modified to meet today’s style and fashion.
Elif Cigizoglu Contemporary Kids Clothes, Turkey
Elif Cigizoglu from Turkey revolutionizes costume design. Elif showcased her designs at various International Fashion Weeks and it was her first visit to India. Her collection is a glamorous ensemble with international colors, textures and craftsmanship.
Alka Kumar Children’s Jewellery, India
There were jewels, jewels everywhere on the catwalk….little divas in pieces of class jewellery by Alka Kumar, sparkled the runway. Little girls wore silver attire to showcase her tremendous line of jewellery which included hair accessories, neck pieces, bracelets, as well as light weight ear studs.
Sumit Dasgupta Designer Dresses, India
Sumit Dasgupta is a self-made talented fashion designer who has passion as well as talent. His collection was full of neon, and other summer bright colors in combination such as pink with purple, saffron with Green, and off-white mixed with green and red.
Kirti Rathore Launches Boys Collection, India
Celebrity Indian designer Kirti Rathore launched her wonderful new little boys’ collection, making it a first for India that a female designer launched a boys collection.
Paul Smith Junior Kids Collection, UK
A big buzz on the runway at the IKFS show was Paul Smith Junior’s collection. A favorite from the UK Paul Smith Junior’s collection added a playful, childlike quality to each item that kids are sure to love.
