All eyes are on Milan Fashion Week as big-name Italian designers showcase their Fall Winter 2016 collection. As a kid’s fashion blogger, I pay special attention to this collection as many Italian fashion designers have launched their own children’s lines that follow the Mini-Me trend – ‘from men’s runway to kids closet’.
I thought I’d have some fun during Milan Fashion Week and try to predict which runway looks from the Fall Winter 2016 collection will be featured in the brand’s boys’ collection. Here are my predicted boys’ mini-me runway looks for the upcoming Fall-Winter season.
Best of Men’s Milan Fashion Week
Versace Men’s FW16 Space Jacket

Another favorite mini-me brand is Young Versace, based on Donatella Versace’s men’s collection. The Versace Fall Winter 2016 collection theme is “Sports and Space”. Donatella explained that she’s thinking of the future which is ultimately space. Space is perfect for a boy’s collection. What boy doesn’t dream of being an astronaut? These Versace outfits with NASA-Versace space badges and perfect for boys, featuring the house’s Medusa head in stars.
Philipp Plein Men’s FW16 Spider-Man Jacket

Philipp Plein is known for his Swarovsky skulls but for Fall Winter 2016 he wanted to be a “bit unexpected”. This Spider-Man Jacket & Batman outfits will make the perfect mini-me looks for the boys’ collection.
Iceberg Men’s FW16 Mickey Mouse Look

For Fall Winter 2016, Iceberg has a new menswear designer, Londoner James Long whose collection is praised as the “peppiest, poppiest Iceberg men’s presentation in years” bringing back the rainbow-color triangle logo its first designer, Jean-Charles de Castelbajac, came up with back in 1974. For Ice Iceberg boys the Mickey Mouse Looks are amazing, based on a hand-drawing by de Castelbajac that had been redrawn by Long.
Roberto Cavalli Men’s FW16 Black Silver Jacket

Roberto Cavalli‘s FW16 collection “Real Opulence” is the first of creative director Peter Dundas. I can see this Silver & Black Jacket & Leopard Leather Jacket for boys next Fall-Winter season.
As I write this there are more runway collections to be launched at Milan Fashion Week including Dsquared2, Armani, Fendi, and Trussardi. I’ll be sure to update my post with my predicted boys’ mini-me looks.
